A fantastic place with so much history. I remember several years ago I was here and meet Alec and his book is for sale at the cafe which I highly recommend. So much to learn here. Make sure you arrive in time for a tour which you should check on before you go. Great park also to have a picnic and run around in

Well worth a visit of you're in Alice Springs. A short trip out of town. Nice clean, grassed picnic area next to the spring that gives Alice Springs it's name.

A must see if your in the area, we had a sky show dinner under under the stars with a all inclusive show put on by the lovely staff who help The Ghan journey passengers have just such a wonderful evening they'll never forget, can't give all the staff as much cheer and thankfulness for such a lovely night I'll always remember. I got a Ghan Jumper or poncho type jumper to which I'll always remember was from the telegraph station. Is unreal and a must see if anywhere near tho area!!!

The mountain bike trails here are terrific. Lots of rocks, undulating sections, drops , switchbacks. Great scenery. not busy the twice I was there. friendly locals and the cafe does a good mint choc cheesecake. Oh, if you don't have your bike you can rent one there. Most tracks intermediate. You can easily cycle here on the terrific bike/ walking tracks that Alice has. they're well signposted and the locals all seemed friendly. Wish more towns were a cycle friendly/ encouraging as Alice. Oh, and cycle the track to Simpson's gap. another great track 17km from Flynn's grave. Apparently nearly 30 years old third track is terrific scenery, safe and we saw roos and a dingo. Thank you Alice Springs.
